The number of females searching for tattoo designs has increased enormously over recent months, which ties in with the surge in numbers of feminine tattoos being applied. Indeed, it may come as a surprise that the search for feminine tattoos now outnumbers the search for male designs.
As a result, there are a great number of new designs aimed at the female market appearing every day.
Try starting with a small tattoo in a discrete place. This way you can decide:
- Is the process too painful?
- Do I suffer any adverse reaction?
- Do I like the tattoo?
If all goes well, you can then either have another tattoo elsewhere, or get your present tattoo added to.
If you’re looking for a lovely feminine design, how about trying a butterfly fairy tattoo combination which can look extremely sexy and can easily be added to.
Other lovely tattoo designs include moon star fairy combinations or, what about a hummingbird?
It is important to remember that a tattoo will probably be with you for life, and so not only should the female take great care in the choice of design, but also the location of the tattoo. Women’s bodies change more than a mans in certain areas – due not only to the normal aging process, but also following pregnancy. The elasticity of the skin can be affected, so it is best to avoid these areas when choosing the location of the artwork. Tattoos will draw attention to their location, and it would be wise to consider whether this will be desirable in future years.
So take your time selecting the design and the location. There are some beautifully designed feminine tattoos available. Just make sure that if you have a symbol or foreign language, make sure you know what it means. It could be insulting to others or just plain undesirable!
